where can i get avalaunch and how do i install it on my xbox, my xbox is not modded at all
so i need to know how to soft mod it to put it on there
and also how do i softmod my xboxs so i can transfer musci from one to another
or the music from my xbox to my comp and then from my comp to the other xbox

avalaunch is a very outdated dashboard, i suggest using evox or even better, use unleashx.
now you must download softmod installers. you can download mine at the vip downloads section, it's called 007 Installer Knave 1.5, i currently only made for 007, but if you don't have 007 agent underfire, but have Mechassault or Splinter cell(must not be classics or platinum hits). read tutorials on them, find them, it's easy, that hardest part is getting that gamesave on your memory card.....not too hard but since your new, it might be hard.
simple mini tutorial.
download the following:
a softmod installer for the game of choice.
a way to get your softmod installer on a memory card.
this could be done via action replay, you can build your own action replay, or buy 1.
the exploitable game and of course an original microsoft memory card.
once you got the gamesave in your memory card, simply copy it to your xbox hard drive.(make sure you don't have another gamesave for the samegame) then run your game, and do as told. like in 007 you choose load mission, select hard drive and viola' softmod is ready to be installed. the rest is up to you to read tutorials on.

you need these games to mod an xbox to archive what you want to do. you don't mod these games. you used them to mod your xbox. and it's alternative to modchips

a softmodded xbox will do just like a mod chip........so to speak, and yes your new dashboard will load up automaticly, when your softmod is installed, and for media files like videos, mp3s. etc, you can download xbox music center and use it as an application from there. now, if you need more help, contact me on MSN who_is_knave@hotmail.com
