Thanks to all the dope ass tutorials and info from this site I was able to do all of this. I just wanted to thanks DJB and all those who helped make this place so good. Thanks guys.
[UPDATE]
Ok, I been having an issue with the new HD. Its a 200G Maxtor, the one that was posted on sale on here. I was able to copy over my old softmodded HD and lock the drive. Everything was ok, until I tried to play a game. I was backing up some of my games and went to play one. Right off the bat I felt it was weird that i couldnt press a button and bypass the normal startup scenes. Then it would freeze right at the press start screen. I then tried to cold boot w/the games CD. Still no luck. Then I tried another game and got the same kind of results.
I then re-installed my RETAIL softmodded HD just to make sure im not going crazy and everything worked fine. Both games I tried with the new HD worked with the RETAIL. This is really strange, could it be the new HD?
Everything else is fine...its just when I play a game either on the HD or Original CD.
[UPDATE 2]
Ok...I fixed the problem, WHAT EVER IT WAS. I just deleted ALL of my E: drive since i boot from C: and i already have a backup of my MS dash on my PC. (i didnt have anything to lose and i had a hunch something on E was causing the freezing) . Well it worked. I was able to play both games that i couldnt before. Whew..i thought my new HD wouldnt work.

It seems the games that didnt work...were trying to save info onto the memory as the game loads. I noticed that there are saved games in my Memory when i go to MS dash, yet i never created a profile. I guess there was some kind of corruption on my E: which was causing problems writing these saves? Anyone have any input on this?

Pirrup's correct. Clear the cache from the E drive first (located at /E/Cache/), select the LocalCache files (numbered like 000, 001, etc. and end with a BIN file extension) and delete them. After that, try playing the game.
This is what I tell everyone I've hooked up, and I haven't had a complaint that an XBOX can't play games yet. _________________ XBOX V 1.0 (softmod)
