There was the black gunk stuff on it, but now that it's out i can see an all silver thing with xbox on it

well you can either leave the silver XBOX writing on or off ... either way i use liquor thinner lol just rub the green right off, and if you want the silver gone then just keep rubbing it and it will eventually come off it just takes longer than the green ... thats what i do lol but not the most effective method tho _________________ Blue Chaos

OH ok. Are you supposed to be able to feel the xbox in silver pop out? For me there is something like a hard clear plastic covering the top.

ok did u get the black sticky stuff off? if u did it will look white with a sorta silver oval around the word xbox. once ur there get a rag and some denatured alchol. poor some onto the rag, and then start rubbing the jewel with some umpff. it should strart coming off. dont rub on a clear area for 2 long. once its clear take another clean rag and get some automotive rubbing compound and just polish that baby till u think its done. then go rinse it and if ur not happy with the results and think it needs more go and buff some more. make sure when ur buffing there is alot of polish on the rag and the jewel u really dont want friction. and there u go u got a clear jewel
