Version 1.6b xbox just modded with Xecuter 3 / lpc rebuild,. boots to microsoft bios fine, when power button is held in.
when trying to boot to the X3 nothing comes up on screen, the X light on the X3 switch is blue, the light around the eject cd button is solid orange. any ideas whats wrong??
specifically i would like to know what causes the solid yellow light so i may troubleshoot.
it also looks as if the x3 chip is getting sufficent power due to the fact that
both the 3.3 volt and 5 volt lights are lit.
any help would be apreciated!

I have only installed a few of the X3 chips and they have all went very smoothly. It sounds like your problem could be the flash bios or OS on the chip hanging up.
Does your chip have a recovery method? Or a way to upgrade the flash bios/OS like the Xenium's and SmartXX's do?
I would look into that. It sounds as if the install is okay.
Sorry I couldn't be of anymore help, but hopefully I pointed you in the correct direction. Keep us posted.

well i read somewhere that the problem is flashbios 3.0.1 suposedly wont boot a version 1.6b (flashbios is the default bios on the x3) so i put a mod chip i have already flashed with team xecuters bios. into the xbox and now it does the restart 3 times / christmas lights thing..... i think im on the right path but there is still a problem to be solved...... any more help would be really apreciated.
