i downloaded a iso its about 1.2 gigs i dont have a dvd burner just a cd burner so i cant burn it. so how can i put it on my hd so it will show in my games menu.

You are going to need a program that extracts the .iso files, can't remember the names of any, but thats the way forward.

CXboxTool2 will extract an ISO for you, but if this is a program or a game, you will also need something that can split the .ISO into two disks so you can still install. Not sure on what will do that, or how that can be done.
DVD drives have come down so far in price, even the external ones can be found for less than 70.00, with internals at 49.00
If you are going to do any backing up, or dealing with larger files I highly suggest investing in one.
