Hey bud, I'm the same way when it comes to newtorking..I know just enough to get my by for what I do.
I also have a router and here is what I noticed about routers. When you do your IP config with a router, you will notice that your IP address is different than if you did an IP config without the router. Your router actually has it's own IP so to speak. It collects the info and transfers it to your PC.
My IP shows as 192.168.1.100 and my PC is connected to the #1 port.
My Xbox is connected to the #2 port, so I went into EvoX settings and changed the IP to 192.168.1.200
If I connect a second xbox which on some occasions I do, I connect it to the #3 port and that Ip is then configured to 192.168.1.300
I am sure you see the pattern there.
So, I would go into your EvoX settings and make your IP 192.168.0.114
I am unsure if yours will respond to that, but it's worth a try. Also, make sure you have it set to Static. Don't worry about DSN, but the subnet mask will be okay at 255.255.255.0
When you make your changes in EvoX make sure you scroll the whole way to the bottom and select "Save and Exit". A lot of people forget to do that and they just hit the b button to backout of the settings menu.
Let me know if that helped.

Hey F03N1X, let me know if you get your system running. sjohn just Pm'd me and corrected me in my explanation, so I may have passed on some eroneous information whch is something that I truly don't want to do.
Like I mentioned, I am pretty network challenged and usually get my networking tips from DJB as it's definitely his forte!
My error was in how I incorrectly described my third xbox setup. I would not have been able to use an IP of 192.168.1.300 as the 300 is not possible.
Maybe sjohn can get you a better explanation, or DJB will step up to the plate and help you out..
I ran another ip config and my IP is listed as 192.168.1.100 and my xbox is definitely 192.168.1.200 and I have been FTP'ing flawlessly using my Linksys router.
Maybe DJB, or anyone else for that matter can explain how the router works so you and I can have a better understanding. I was assuming the IP address was being assigned for the second connection, but by sjohns description to me I think that is incorrect.

By the looks of it you're using DHCP for your Network. Personally I don't use it, and use Static IP Addressing.
So, 192.168.0.1 must be your router I'm guessing, and the 192.168.0.113 address of your PC is an address being distributed by DHCP.
Try this setup and tell me how you go, I'll basically try and get your hardware set up like it is on my network, and then it shouldn't be a problem at all (this means changing the router's IP address if you don't mind).
1) Change your router IP to 192.168.0.100 and turn DHCP OFF.
2) Configure your PC with this:
IP: 192.168.0.1
Subnet: 255.255.255.0
Gateway: 192.168.0.100 (the new IP of the Router)
DNS Server: whatever it is usually
3) Now, go to your Xbox and make this configuration changes:
* Turn DHCP OFF (other words set DHCP to Static if you didn't know).
* Enter this Configuration:
IP: 192.168.0.2
Subnet: 255.255.255.0
Gateway: 192.168.0.100
DNS Server: same as the DNS Server you used on your PC.
4) Reboot your Xbox
5) All done.
I set the DNS Servers to 0.0.0.0 when I built the installer due to the fact that everyone uses a different DNS. It's not really needed unless you wish to access the Internet on your Xbox though. If you do wish to use the internet, make sure you update the config for this on your xbox too (for every program that uses the net that allows you to config).
Hopefully this will work for you, like I said it's basically the same configuration I use here, and it's also what I have loaded into all the applications that use the network.
Let us know how you go...
