I used a hotswap tutorial that I found here http://forums.xbox-scene.com/index.php?showtopic=332179 and followed all the instructions EXACTLY as they were stated. Now, when I boot my xbox it justs hangs on the xbox logo, right after the white microsoft appears. I give up. Now I have 2 dead xboxes...

You could format one of the drives and use XboxHDM to set up a new drive for your Xbox.
The problem is, where ever I messed up, it deleted my back up that I created. Is there a way to d'load the MS dashboard so I can start over?
I ordered a MuppetX chip to slve my problem but, If I can resolve it and finish softmodding it, I will use the chip in my other xbox.

Ok... I went thru that tut and did everything as it said. Now, rather than sending me right o an error, it just sits on the Xbox logo screen. Any ideas?

Try booting with the dvd drive unplugged and see if you get an error and if not try with the HDD unplugged If you get an error either way it can be fixed with a chip then softmodded so you canuse the chip in your other Xbox. At the bottom of my sig is a link to the MS Dash files.
