Hey guys,
I'm not completely new when it comes to modded xboxes, I have no problems ftp-ing and updateding files (usually) on my xbox, but I have not actually performed a mod myself. I have searched these forums a bit and have not come up with a similar situation that I now find myself in. Just hoping someone can point me in the right direction for a method to recover my xbox.
I have a hard-modded v1.0 xbox running an Xecuter bios (I think...it was done a long time ago, and was updated to a later version maybe 2 years ago!). It was booting to an EvoX dash and in the process of updating XBMC I decided I would rather it boot to that instead. Not knowing there were potentially easier ways to achieve this I ended installing a small xbe program (I cannot remember it's name) and config file (XML) to the root of the C:\ directory. The idea is you rename the xbe to whatever the xbox usually boots from and it then boots whatever program it is pointed to as defined by the config file. I am sure many of you will be familier with this setup.
The only problem is, like a complete nob, I specified the incorrect address for the XBMC directory on my drive, so when it goes looking for the XBMC xbe file it cannot find it!
Now when I boot the xbox I get audio and video during the xbox boot sequence. Xecuter flashes up very, very briefly before I am presented with a blank screen and that is it! There are no error codes and I cannot FTP to it.
From memory I can get it to boot original games, but no copies or burnt discs will play, including Slayer 2.7 and AID 3.10. I don't believe this to be a media issue, as I have tried media I know to have worked in the past, and a few others.
So the question is...what are my options for recovering? I don't need any in depth instructions, but if somebody can please just mention a couple of things to try, I can probably figure it out from other posts in this forum.
I am guessing that as long as I can somehow manage to FTP to it, i can fix it...but I need to get it to boot, or at least get some access to the HD!
Many thanks in advance.

Do you have backups of the C:\ drive, E:\ drive and eeprom?

Since you are chipped, just get AID 3.1 and pop it in and reinstall the dashboard
