It's actually nothing but a mere idea right now. A few of us have thought it would be cool to get together in the wild but wonderful Australia, where 99.9% of all women are gorgeous, but that tenth of a percent hefer will make you run like hell..or at least dump a clutch if you're forahobby..HA.
We haven't really discussed it much since the initial talk started by Xboxter, but it is something that a few of us are really thinking about. I have thought about fund raising, donations, or other ways to try to help fund the event once we are actually there, so any ideas are quite welcome.
What I was thinking about doing is building a killer Xbox with the Xtender Kit and selling E tickets for it via PayPal. Then, using the proceeds for the dinner/rooms/whatever we can use it for. So, any ideas are greatly appreciated. I would think we need to be super organized with this and think of when it would actually be. We would have to take into consideration what would work for the majority of the members that would like to participate. Then we could look at what our costs would be and then attack that area and try to lessen the cost as much as possible through the ideas that we come up with.
Hopefully, we can originally get it to a point where members could afford it and then anything that we raise would be icing on the cake!!
Keep ideas coming...let's see how far we can actually take this thing.

The more the merrier!! And hopefully, the more we get the better pricing we can get for certain functions. Again, it's something that is definitely in it's infancy stage..actually...more like an embyo stage!!
Xboxter posted some airfare and travel info, but I am not sure if it's still valid. I do mostly domestic travel and am not familiar with travel to Autstralia. I would imagine that forahobby or DJB or any other person from that area can guide us as far as where we should stay and have the festivities!
Once we get a serious head count we can then maybe appoint certain people to handle various aspects of the event.
Let's definitely keep on this!
