Thanks everone. Waiting on my DOUx2 mod chip to get here then will start installing on the 2 HDDs buyinging the wires and swith tomorrow. Still thinking on were to install the swith to swith HDD's

ne place i was thinking for the switch was at the bac above the network plug as theres nothing behind the dvd drive only the cuble for the drives theres like a inch of round and the 2nd HDD will be to the front like the standed HDD

finshed making the cable and modding the insides of the xbox to hold the 2nd hdd. frmated the 8gb hdd and installed XBMC as dasboard alright but then got on to doing the 10gb hdd and started to have problems with it not loading into XBMC. remove to hdd and formated in windows and run ok nothing wrong with the hdd so reformated it and installed ms dash lock the hdd and run good then installed xbmc on it as dashboad and error. hdd c partion is full missing cuple files tryed to boot xbmc be wouldnt as had files missing so i just installed EVOX and runs mint. the 2nd hdd has xbmc on it and runs mint to. photos soon.

sum specs on the xbox:
Seagate 10gb
Western digital 8gb
60mm slim cpu fan
Cooling tempture specs:
CPU: 45C
GPU: 25C
10gb hdd: 24C
8gb hdd: unkownC
Fan speed is at 30% for the standed fan and the fan i installed is running at 50%.
Running evox on one hdd and xbmc on the other both are locked and can go on xbox live. all i have to do now is install sum plactic in the windows in the top of the case and also finsh off the hdd holder where the dvd drive was.

Finshe modding the inside and installin the HDD's have formated tham and installed everthing on them. just got to do the plastic in the case windows and edit the bios to change the eject leds.

Just a update i have removed 1 hdd and modifyed the dvd drive that was stuffed and installed a fan in the center on the cd holder blows air round inside the case oand down on the motherboard.
Started on my other empty xbox case making a slim xbox.
will be making a site for it to. will be like the other xbox site.

hi there finshed the 2 hdd xbox have photos and infomation on my website. I have it setup to run 2 hdd on the flick of a swith at moment its running one and a modded dvd drive thats got a fan in it. http://icutebluezone.orcon.net.nz/
Also i have be thinking of what to do with my slim xbox case i have done. 1. I install a mini client pc.
2. I install a xbox and install a wireless controler sensor in xbox and a dvd remote sensor.

Got my parts 2 days ago and have modifyed the plastic tray and modifyed a steel try to go in the plastic tray to hold the hdd in my slim. Should have it all bolted together and hdd srewed in place this week and i move on to installing chip and dash and that.

Tru. it takes a bit of time to do. This was my 1st window mod and cum up mint i have done little work with dremel and plastic before on car parts so made the xbox easyer to do. Just check things and take time doing them is the way i do it.

I have started moding the case done the front panel cut it own next goint to cut the rest down and full in the controler ports. Will paint this xbox with a effect paint like stone or cracked or sumthing.
