Just downloaded 3.0,3.02 and 3.03 and watched the update video to see how it worked. Well I followed the steps and chose what the guy in the video did. Saved and burned with Nero. Got a few questions/problems.
First is the display is larger than my TV screen by a inch or 2 if that makes any sense. It's like the installation screen it zoomed in some. Also MC360 skin does this aswell.
Second is whats the difference between hacked dashboard and dashboard?
When I choose install all apps it only installs a couple according to XBMC once I load it. Which is DVD2Xbox and another one or 2 that I can't remember.
But the biggest problem is when I try to install the apps by themselves most of them give a error and doesn't install.
Pretty much all I want is the latest XBMC with all the most used/needed apps and emulators.
Thx

Go to your XBMC Settings, then My Videos. You can set the calibration (size) of the screen there.

The term "Hacked Dashboard" usually means a homebrew (or homemade) dashboard, like Evox, Unleashx and XBMC.

So when you go to "Install Applications", then select a drive, then "Install All" it only comes up with a few? That's weird, I'll double check my scriptng but as far as I know it shold be fine.

Sounds like you didn't integrate the ISO and Update pack properly, coz these errors could possibly be the files missing on the DVD.

The One-Click install feature in AID takes care of this. It installs your dashboard (even XBMC is supported here), then the following apps:
* Dvd2Xbox
* Enigmah NTSC-PAL Video Changer
* DVD-X (DVD Player)
* XBMC (If not installed as a dash already)
Hope that helps...
BTW, AID 3.04 update has now been released.

I'll grab 3.04 and maybe that will fix the problem. Maybe where I am having to add all these updates I am missing something.

All you need to use is the ISO / Addons in the AID 3.0 package, and the 3.04 update. You dont need any of the other update packs.
