The softmod was working now it seems messed up. Need suggestions to fix please.
Details:
Originaly softmodded about 6 months ago, using MechAssault and SID 3, I think. Power button goes to Avalaunch and Eject button used to go to MS Dash (now give error code 21).
Whenever I try to start a backed up game from the hard drive, the hame looks like it is going to start and then just restarts Avalaunch, same for backup game discs. Emulators and original game discs work fine.
I have a another modchipped XBOX available to use to fix.
Suggestions please?

I will need my original Mechassault game to do this, right?

what pirrup ment is yes you have 2 options . coldboot your game and re mod it or put aid 3 and try to remod it . if backed up games work then aid 3 works too cuz its an unsiged code . if unsiged codes dont work then put your game power off and power back on with game inside . this is called coolboot it prevents any mods to be active. so you have coldboot or burn aid 3 re mod it and put something new like sid 4.5 so you can play live _________________ Xbox 360 Premium edition

What Gus is saying is: If you use AID3.0 you can reload the Softmod and M$Dash without using the Game. _________________ I think I like fixing Boxes more than using them!

I had AID2.11 on th hard drive, but it found the "Run Linux" save to be corrupted.
So I just resoftmodded and everything is working great.
Thank you for your help.
I have made my boss very happy since it was his son's xbox that I fixed!
