No, I do think it's funny, because people come in acting all hard, and flipping out. This isn't a 24/7 customer support site that has people monitoring the forums for your pleasure. I've stated the fact that I can't help you... three times now. And Blazer, Storm and I have pointed out the simple fact that most Dells DON'T LIKE XBHDM. TRY A DIFFERENT TOWER!!!! If you don't have another computer to cannabalize, then use a friend's. It'll take you 5 minutes. _________________ "That which does not kill you, only makes you stronger."

BTW you have 2 admin's are here helping you yet you are getting pissy? Just get a standard PS2 keyboard, wwith no multi media functionalty. You can also buy the real bios chip for your mobo that will solve the linux issues.

sorry I was trying to find the link for ya. I edited and added it above. If your a geek then you know that a large manufactors such as dell sell corp models and home models. Home models/windowss and corp/linux/unix. Each has a diff bios. They dont write them. All (most major) manufactors have the company I mentioned above write their bios's and updates. So I highly recomend buying your real firmware form them. sure its $65 but you get every piece of possible functality out of your mobo.

I think HellBlazer is just saying any prefab box is not going to work as well as a custom build. Custom build's are cheaper and far better as long as you carefully check out the hardhare you are going to guy
P.S. On a more personaly level you did say you own a Dell right? Well prefabs suck IMO and yes I'm not only a geek but a well certified one :O

Both of you, take this elsewhere.
As for you, gus. The post is, the Keyboard isn't responding AT ALL. Dell's (especially the Inspiron home version) blow. The XPS series was made for gaming, thus, most compatible (because real gamers use Custom builds). _________________ "That which does not kill you, only makes you stronger."
