Actually,
As long as you've used one of the save game exploits, can't you "technically" FTP to it in the EVOX dash/DSL kernel, and NOT apply the softmod? That is, as long as you don't mind running the save game exploit each time you need FTP access. Not sure what good it would do you...but...

Hum...maybe a fine point, but I don't think loading the exploit to force an overflow and boot the DSL shell is modding the box (and you still haven't clicked the option "apply softmod").
