Hiya
Right ok then, basically it is an XBE file, if your xbox is chipped then just run the file from say boxplorer.
If you are going to softmod then you will need on of the exploit versions such as 007 or mechassault which you will need the original game for.
If you downloaded from here it has 4 versions, 3 exploiuts and one for chipped boxes which you just run

thx for the reply. I thought it was a type of prog. that could be put into an unmodded console. I had came across a web site tat tells you what the number of the serial numbers stand for. I found out that mine is a 1.6 version.
Thx for the help,

Ah right now, it needs to be modded first, yes there are a few ways to tell the version such as serial number, date and by looking inside.

Be careful now. My understanding is that there is a version 1.6A and 1.6B. The "B" version has a brown wire. Could make a difference in where certain wires will go if modding. _________________ http://twitter.com/HQ_Shark2th

heya, the brown wire thing ain't true, I have had 1.6a's with brown wires, the only reliable way is to check the memory chips, if they are hynix then 1.6b, if they samsung then they 1.6a.
The chip fitting is the same, the only difference is that you need the m8+ bios.
Very little difference, they just used cheaper memory, and so bios adjustments need to be made to cope
