Ok, here's my problem...

I'm still running the OEM HD on my xbox. I have a 1.6 xbox, and when I look in the FileManager (XBMC running the 360 theme) I see that F and I think it's Q have the same amount of HD space free...

It was at 2.6Gb... I copied Halo over to my HD (had to leave out the bonus video crap) and now I have 600+- Mb free... what happened?

Are these partitions linked, or is the second one a virtual partition?

I'm not computer dumb, I'm an IT manager, lol... I just can't figure out what's going on with the HD here...

Also, what are the specs I'd need if I wanted to upgrade to a bigger drive? Does the Xbox support EIDE ATA100, ATA133, SATA (With backwards EIDE adapter)...

I'm only looking for maybe a 40 or 60Gb drive, as I have a 500Gb Network drive (MyBook World Edition).

And as a side note, is it possible to run games from the network? Like if I store the game on a network drive? That would solve a TON of my problems!

To upgrade the HDD you just need a lockable HDD, you can check the list here: http://www.xbox-hq.com/html/modules.php?name=Xbox_HardDrives

Q is the F drive, if you are running XBMC as an App it makes it easier to by going to Q and not needing to go to F/Apps/XBMC.
Just think of Q as a folder not a drive. Wink
