I have a 3com superstack hub and I am using exox but I am not able to get the ip from the xbox. I believe hte hub is set up correctly becasue Iam able to get the internet. Once I unplug the xbox crossover and plug it back in it says online but there is no ip please help

hi mate,

Ok.. Heres a easy tutorial i wrote for all you guys to help you setup your XBOX IP ADDRESS and PC IP ADDRESS so they are in the same ip range..

Setup PC (ip address) for FLASHFXP tranfer to xbox:

If you xbox and pc are not using the same subnet and ip range they will never be able to see each oter.. Also.. Since your using a HUB you will have to setup a STATIC IP ADDRESS FOR YOR XBOX in your evox dashboard. (system settings sectoin)..
