so what is the correct way to install SID5 over a previous version, im trying some stuff on my stock drive right now (so i dont mess up my good current one) i just wanna upgrade so i can copy the files over and make a 300 gig drive

It is pretty easy actually, just copy over the sid 5.0 gamesave like you did the sid 1.1 and then use sid 5.0 to uninstall the old softmod. Once you do this reboot your xbox and relaunch sid 5.0 and select install softmod. For the time being the only safe method osing sid 5.0 is single boot, with no virtual c an no virtual eeprom. Just a normal single boot softmod.
