I have modded my retail hard drive, and everything works fine. I upgraded my retail drive to a 200 gig drive using the xboxhdm method. I thought everything was fine but some games hang on the intro. I put back the retail drive and those games do not hang. I then tried the clone and existing drive option with xboxhdm which takes forever. Now those games do not hang on the new drive. What did I do wrong?

Sometimes it just does that, m8. Obviously you fixed the problem, though, so you're good. But, it could have been because you copied the C drive, and didn't use a retail MSDash C. It's best to use MSDash 5960 when building a drive, then once you have the new, bigger drive in, you can resoftmod, and not really lose anything but your old dash configs (unless you backed them up, then you just FTP the config.xml or what have you over, and your old xbox is back).

Another common problem is the cache, sometimes they get fubar'd in the rebuld, all you had to do was clear the cache, and they might have run. Either way, good job on fixing it. Have fun with your box!
