can anyone tell me how to fix my xbox i deleted my dasboard by mistake and every time i start it up it says error 21 and i have a softmod
I download and burn the slayer installer 2.6 but the xbox does not read the disk. but the xbox can still play original mirsoft games please help.
o ya i have xbox v1.6

Download the AID3 disc and burn it on the slowest speed on a DVD-R and then it will read it and bam reinstall your Xbox dash _________________ The mighty V6 Passat came to chew bubble gum and kick%^* and shes all out of bubble gum!

You may have to load the game you used for the exploit and re-do the softmod.

but some one did it for me and i am new at this how do i re install it with a game i dont know how to do it n were do i get aid disc

Relax.....If you don't know the AID3 download is on the download page in this web site.....and I almost bet it will fix it....if not you can read the tut here on the site too for a softmod guide and just redo the whole thing over again...you won't lose any files I think _________________ The mighty V6 Passat came to chew bubble gum and kick%^* and shes all out of bubble gum!

Grab the AID 3.0 main ISO, and the 3.03 update pack.

I always thought that if you had a softmod gone bad, you needed to install a chip to reinstall MS dash, and then go for the softmod again.
This is interesting to know.
I'll have to check out some tuts here and maybe give AID a shot in regard to doing a softmod. I have used it on all my chip installs...would never use another installer as long as I live!! AID is the real deal! If they gave awards for installer innovation, AID would grab an oscar for sure...lol. _________________ Xbox 1.4

If the Xbox can boot original games, what you need to do it apply the softmod again (hopefully you've kept it in your gamesaves).
Once that is done, you can boot AID 3.03 to fix up everything, I recommend the One-Click installs for beginners.

There are three games that have exploits written for them. All have to be the original realease, not the platinum hits version.
Splinter Cell
James Bond: Agent Under Fire
MechAssault
When either of these games are loaded you will see a "linux" gamesave. That is the exploit.
See if any or your local rental stores carry these games.
At this point you may want to consider doing a hotswap. That will bring your box back to retail state. To softmod it, will need one of those games and the gamesaves.
Download AID3 and the updates for it. Look in the downloads section of http://www.aideluxe.com for the files. Softmod Installer Deluxe (SID) 3.1 and 4.5 are packaged in it. You will find the appropiate gamesaves for the each game. Also there are pdf manuals to guide you. _________________ Xenium Ice 2.3.1 OS
