i cant belive it i moved both of my original dashboards (trying to get XBMC as my dash) and i have to wait 4 hours for AID hopefully this will work .
i modded my x-box with the 007 hack but i deleted my savegame do i now have to use aid or hotswap the hdd of my x-box (i dont have the torx screwdrivers to do so)

i downloaded AID3 and 3.3 (couldnt patch version 3)
i burned the disk using discjuggler using a CD-R and a DVD/RW and none of them worked (burned using x4)
i tried to burn using nero 6 and it wouldnt work
so hotswapping is my only option unless some one can tell me exactly what i have to do!

top shotta if the number error turns to 16 you need someone else with a modded x-box to put his hard drive into yours to fix it otherwise you would need to get it chipped

my error is still at 21 lol so did u fix it and i thing you should get version 3.0 and get the iso from that one to burn version 3.3 then it should work i thing but i know u need to burn it as a iso file for te xbox to read it

burn the ISO as slow as possible (2x for a DVD-R)

It says to use CD+Rws, but I burned mine at 8x with a DVD+R and it works fine, That should solve both of your problems

so if the disk "did" work it would still be useless error 16 wont read disks never mind trying to run them

have you repaired the softmod yet. until this is done you wont be able to boot the AID disk

what do you mean dont the aid disk fix the softmod? p.s the deafult.xbe from the dashboard is deleted

the files that come with AID will softmod the box.
read the tutorials on this site for softmodding.
When ur xbox is new it comes with the M$ bios and dash board installed and so wont boot unsigned code (AID). You softmod the box by installing a "hacked" dash(evox or Unleashx,etc) then it will boot unsigned code(AID)
Now if you remove the "hacked" dash it will no longer boot unsigned code so you have to softmod all over again or try the hot swap option.
The easy way is obviously buy a modchip
