i just installed my mod chip and now when i turn my xbox on it goes on and off three times then just stays on with the flashing light can anybody help me out out there.

Have you flashed a bios image to your chip? Also, have you set the X3 switch to the correct setting?
You have to enable FlashBios the first time to flash an X3 bios to your chip. You need to set the switches to On, On, Off, Off, and have switch 5 (flash protect) disabled on the chip as well as the X3 switch.

When I flashed the bios and I turned it on, it did that same thing. I think it was because of the bios version I had. I put a bios for v1.0 on my xbox, but mine is a v1.6. We re-flashed it with the correct bios, and it worked fine after that.
