Hello group, I can connect to the xbox but when I try to look in a folder it kicks me out. I t ask for the pass word again,it wil not let me back into the hd. I tried changing the ip address the same thing happens again. All help is appreciated.

Hi,
What application are you using to connect to your xbox via ftp??
I would suggest FLASHFXP.. Most members here use it and will suggest it too.
Depending on which dashboard you use will depend on if the password is going to work or if its not.. Some of the very first dashboards didnt support password changes..
So we need more info..
im sure you will get it sorted.
another tip.. Try turning off your windows firewall and experiment.. It could be a small prob with your firewall.

I put everything right in the FlashFXP the Ip address, the port, the username and password, but it still doesn't connect to the xbox I can't see the right side of the screen filled with files/folders.
Please Help

I got the linux up, i created a ms and mod back up
I installed softmod
then installed unleashedx

My NIC connected to a router and my computer and xbox connected through the router also

when you go to setings then network does it say No link? or what xbox ip is it ????

Yeah I got it 2 wrk I rest the ip on the xbox and rest the pc. Thanks still very fuzzie on iso burning.

When you use an ISO burning program, it unpacks the image and burns all of the files to the right places. (For Boot sectors and other stuff like that.) _________________ I think I like fixing Boxes more than using them!
