I have now install;ed the softmod 4 all i want to do now is just reset my xbox back to normal and start over, or play xbox live with the softmod on but not online,
i cant connect to xbox live anymore please someone help me i just want my xbxo back to normal

to un softmod ur xbox just got in to the softmod installer and go down till u find uninstall and that will get rid of the softmod

it says FALUIRE , batch process failed last item was e:backup\ms not valid action rename :s mega ocnfused lol dont tell me that i cant put it back to normal please lol

well no but i couldnt get any ftp program to find my xbox, wel i could try again, i im sure i did back it up along with the eeprom aswell, but i cant connect to xbox live aswell, it says xbox live is not responding

Did you use AID 3.0?
If not, D.L. it, and use it. AID 3.0(Thanx DJB) has good utilities in it.
You may need to "Un-mount c: drive" in the Softmod menu then just reformat retail HDD and install MSdash from the main menu. _________________ I think I like fixing Boxes more than using them!

ok that is frekin werid givin u an error if its sid 4 or 4.5 unlikely ....
but u can stil go to xbox live with softmod and never get ban... this is why sid 4 is sooo unique and special
Now what u need to do is re softmod but this time on sid 4 or 4.5 what ever u have put dual boot=retail and once the mod is completed then just to go to xbox live safely u would EJECT TRAY OPEN so u would turn it on by pressing eject and WAIT until its fully loaded then u can put a RETAIL game and play xbl normal and u wont get ban!.... IF IT IS SOLID GREEN then the mod is disable.... do u understand? _________________ Xbox 360 Premium edition

that was pretty much a useless post its an error uninstalling the mod gus, now to the matter at hand, if you restore then try uninstalling the mod as crazy as that sounds it might work, or you can use the XED if you can find it, It has a softmod uninstaller program on it. _________________

he doesnt care what he does he just wants to play xbl .... so ALL he has to do is put the exploitable game and click on INSTALL SOFTMOD then dualboot=retail and there he goes... 2 dashboards insted of what ever he has now... _________________ Xbox 360 Premium edition

You Dont Install Over a Softmod! That can lead to more errors on your xbox, I found when people have done that they run in to trouble so im the one who has to get into the xbox and uninstall everything and delete old softmod files. _________________

true ... but nknave said its ok to just pop game in and re install softmod ... but im only telling him the fastest way... umm also u can just load game and unisntall softmod and then power it off when its SAFE to do so and then power with game inside and re mod it .... _________________ Xbox 360 Premium edition
