ok, so ive installed a softmod using SID 4, chose unleashX as my dash. softmod all seems to be workig properly (other than ms dash starts when i boot my xbox, unleashX only starts when a dvd etc is put in.. dont know if this is right?) anyway. my xbox wont play dvds, it recognises that the dvd is in the drive and says in the top right "tray:video" but nothing happens when you press A on play DVD. In the settings it says the DVD player software (DVDX) is in F:\apps\DVDX or something like that but i dont seem to have an F or G drive on my xbox. any ideas? thanks in advance.

hi about the boot up i have not idea
but i had the same problem with playing dvds i fixs mine by downloading AID 3 and installing it you can find AID in the vip area

If you don't have an upgraded HDD you won't have an F: either. If your on a retail drive, use aid to install the DVDX and then then change the config file for unleashx to target E: instead of F: _________________ Hotswap|HDD Upgrade|X3 Guide

thanks for the help, sorted it now... i managed to sort the boot problem too. my xbox is set to run msdash on startup, named xboxdash.xbe in my c drive so i just put XBMC into the c drive, named it xboxdash.xbe and the real xbox dash as "xboxdash1.xbe" now wen i boot up my xbox it runs XBMC
