Hi all,
Really sorry to have to clarify this, but ive recently purchased a softmod kit and installed it on my Xbox. I dont know what version it is, but it seems to have worked fine as I can now play backed up games. It came with splinter cell and a save game and a file called linux installer or something on the memory card.
Now is it ok for me to just put AID2.11 on?

yea, you can pop AID in and use it to install any apps or emulators you would want

I noticed int he tutorial this section:
Installing SID 3.0 to HDD or Memory Card
This option can be used either to set up an Xbox HDD for an unmodded Xbox, or to install it directly to your memory card or USB device (such as a Mega X-Key)
Does this mean I can update my memory card with the latest SID, so i can uninstall my current softmod and install the latest version? Is there anything I need to be careful not to do with regards to updating it? Do I clear my memory card first, or will this overwrite the files?

Ah ha! Been browsing the forums, and reliased it was Krayzies softmod that ive got installed. Is there much difference between the two?
