I have a blank HDD in my xbox and a modchip flashed with evox 8+. I think alls I need to do is get AID 2.0 on my xbox for the dash and I can get it working. I downloaded the program from xbox hq and extracted it useing winrar. I started it up and was going by the really crappy online manuel and I can't work the thing. I can't find my iso and rar file. I dont even have a RAR file or a ISO file to use. Should I of had gotten it when I downloaded the program? Some one please help me through this Im a complete idiot when it comes to this.

Use winrar to extract the all the rar files into 1 ISO file. You than burn that 1 ISO file along with a dummy file(s) using the tutorial in the tutorials page. I suggest using dvddecrypter for it is pretty simple. Don't expect it to work the first time u burn it either, different xbox's use like different media. So try lots of different media.

LIke I said, Im an idiot. I dont even know how to extract them alll into one Iso. I have winrar on my computer. And its just one compressed file and then it decompresses into two. Does this sonud right I think I downloaded the right thing. If this helps I can see the iso updat tool.

So you did indeed download somethin around 23 files and extracted them? If you didnt get 23 files or so then that could very well be your problem. After you get all the files you then extract them using winrar which creates a bunch of folders as well as one large file which is the iso...and then burn it how the online manual told you to....good luck. _________________ Xbox V1.6

Well, to get AID 2.xx I believe you need to be a vip member. I think, but am not sure, that you can download AID 1.xx for free though. I would suggest becomming a VIP member, but its up to you. Anyways, if you only downloaded 2 files, than you probably just downloaded the update, not the actual AID. Go back and download AID which will be like 20 something files. Then extract it to 1 ISO file and burn. _________________ XBOX- V1.0

Yeah, Im doing that And Im not 10.2 percent with over 21 hours left whoa who!!! Is it pretty easy from there on out? Keep in mind I did manage to not download the right thing so it might be impossble for me lol

I have found azureus to be quite fast. What torrent platform are you using? Just get the program downloaded and we will help ya from there. In the meantime I suggest going through all of the chapters and appendix's on aideluxe.com....they really are quite explanatory so i suggest in those 21 hours you read through it once or twice and then ask questions if you need to...however i think after reading through all of those topics on the aid 2.0 manual you will have a clue as to what is going on because djb did a good job of explaining it....let us know if ya need any more help though...bye. _________________ Xbox V1.6
