When I goto XBOX Live, I get the little thinking icon down at the bottom of the screen for 2 seconds, then I get the "Service Required" screen. The number is 21. What does that mean, and can I fix it myself? If so, how?

/edit:
Okay people, I am slowly giving up hope. I downloaded a WHOLE bunch of files hoping I would be able to put Xebian on my XBOX. Mainly for surfing the web. How GOOD is the quality when surfing the web with linux anyway? Like, can you view major eyecandy websites like www.gamebattles.com and www.xbox-hq.com?

Either way, I have tried installing the MechAssault gamesaves: Emergency Linux, Restore Dashboard, and install linux( http://www.xbox-saves.com/pafiledb/pafiledb.php?action=category&id=43&start=20&sortby=name ) to create that Linux icon in place of the xbox live one...I have read many tutorials on how to do it but I keep getting the same errors when trying to install the linux. The error I get when using "install linux": Error installing. Try restore dashboard." Then, when I launch the mech save "Restore Dashboard", I get another error but I can't remember what it says...Another problem, when I try to use emergency linux I cannot connect to my xbox. The connection to my xbox goes from Modem Ethernet>Switch>Xbox. Note: My switch also has a ps2 hooked up but I dont think that makes a difference. My computer is hooked up through Modem USB>PC. Whenever I try to telnet in and stuff I cannot even connect. I've also tried the FTP in EvoX, and that doesn't work either. What am I doing wrong here? All I am trying to do is do a full install of Linux on my xbox Mad
I get this message while using the "Install Linux" Save> "Installation failed. You're dashboard partition may be corrupted "

Any help is MAJORLY appreciated. Thanks again to my helpful friends here @ xbox-hq.com Cool

It would help if you told us what softmod package you used for starters, and secondly I wouldn't recommend going on xbox live with a softmodded xbox.
