Hey all. I decided to softmod my xbox, but do i need to change the hard drive? How big is the hard drive that is given with the xbox? How many games can it possibly hold? And my second question is i cant seem to download the files from Xbins. Does anyone know where else i can download from? Thanks. Also, after softmodding ur xbox, is there such this as installing software for u to get "Free Xbox Live" ?

Alrighty then. I can help with some of these. Standard hard drive in Xbox = 8 gigs. Figure each game is around 3 to 4 gigs on the hard drive if I remember right. When you say you can't seem to download from Xbins... what are you using to try to attempt the download? Free Xbox Live... no free lunch dude. Try XBox Connect or Xlink... Smile

If you haven't softmoded yet, you might stop by http://aid.xbox-hq.com/ before you go too much further. It will make your softmodding a whole lot easier.
