What is the best way to back up a game onto a dvd? I am looking for advice on the best program to copy a game so I can make a backup of it. _________________ XBOX V1.4

If your box is chipped, you only need DVD2Xbox then you FTP to your PC to burn with a Xiso program like cxboxtool2 _________________ LED Rings $6 (doesnt include LEDs) LED ring pic

Is there a program out there that will copy it and burn it also all from my pc? Sounds like I need to copy it to the harddrive first and them ftp it to my pc for me to burn a copy. That is ok if that is the best way of doing it. Also would I burn it to a dvd+ for - ? I have a modded 1.4 with the X3 chip and a thompson drive. _________________ XBOX V1.4

a pc won't read an xbox disc. so you have to copy the disk from your xbox. but you don't have to copy it to your xbox hdd first. with Qwix (on pc) go to Create Iso->FTP Folder->D: (D: is your dvd-rom in xbox)

and...if your xbox is softmodded and you have something like evox installed, just ftp into the xbox and copy everything you find on /D/ to a folder and them make an XISO out of it once it's in your pc, make sure you patch any media checks (if any) before burning it. Making he iso is not strictly necessary as you could burn the files to a blank dvd using XBOX compatibility and UDF/ISO format on a program like nero. (newer versions)

If you have a DvD burner and want to make a copy on a DvD it doesn't get much easier than using DvD Decrypter. Once you have your ISO file on your PC simply fire up DvD Decrypter, select mode>iso>write and you will have your copy. DvD Decrypter is freeware and if you google you can find it.
