I'll stick with rom files for now as bit torrents are a little more involved and we can discuss this after you understand how to put rons on your HD.
The best way to put a rom onto your HD is via FTP.
First, install the emulator in the proper folder. I dont know your setup, but I have a 200GB HD. My setup is:
F:/Apps/Emulators
Now, if I wanted to load some MameOX roms into the MameOX emulator then what I would do is use the autoinstaller to install MameOX so the directory would be:
F:/Apps/Emulators/MameOX
Now, inside the MameOX folder is another folder called roms
If I had the game Dig Dug and the file name was digdug.zip here is what I would do.
I would connect my Xbox to my PC/router and open my FTP client up on my PC and connect to the Xbox.. I would then navigate to the proper folder on my PC where I have my MameOX roms stored and then on the other side of the FTP client navigate to where my emulator is stored (F:/Apps/Emulators/MameOX/roms) and then transfer one or all of the roms that I want.
After you reboot your Xbox then launch your emulator. The roms should be visible in the list now.
Let me know if you understand what I just went over.

to use torrents you need a bittorrent client like Azureus, you will also need the java runtime environment they have linked on that site if you choose to use Azureus, but there are many clients out there. once you have a bt client you can journey onto any of the MANY MANY bt sites and from that site you can download a torrent file. now to download the actual file you will need to open the torrent file in the bit torrent client. here a few sites. enjoy.

Also if you are looking for cpmpatable media you should use "DVD-R" It is the most compatable with most versions (especially the Thompson drive). That is if you MUST use media (not enough space for game backups).
Unfortunately its a one time deal. But like the above, I prefer FTP overall, its cheaper and faster. _________________ -Scourge "Rx = +/_\"

I do not know how to transfer the ROMS. I downloaded the FlashFXP deal and I don't understand how to transfer the ROMS. I hooked the XBOX up to my computer and got about that far.
Thanks!
