There are some games that install a update to your MS dash, and the game won't run until this is done...is their a way to exectue these updates through like a file manager?

I have never need to update the msdash but you can use the aid 4.10 disc to install msdash 5960 i think it is.

I installed MS Dash 5960...but I still can not get NCAA Football 08 to run

You cant get one game to run and you think its the dash?
You sure your not missing a file?

Inl looking at the files in the ISO ... I noticed that one of the files on the disc is dashupdate.xbe...I believe this is a dashboard update

Yes the xbe is the updater, but if you have 5960 installed I don't think it will do anything since thats the newest dash, unless maybe theres a file for the dash that needs to be updated and not the dash itself. _________________

I think that theres a game file missing not a dash file or the other games woldent be running right.

What dash are you running now? The version of your M$dash has nothing to do with if this game is gonna run or not. Are you trying to play it off of the original disk? _________________
