Ok quick question. I have a Softmodded box, the folder in which the dashboard loads and is installed is e:\dashboard.
Ok now in the folder it has a default.xbe file thats the file it loads up.
Now the problem I am having is when I install a dashboard with AID to E: hence where the dash's are it goes in E:/ litterally not in a dash folder or nada?
Now I was wondering is it safe to put it in the dashboard folder? Maybe Rename it or whatever? I tried to open it with a file explorer and nothing happened...
So Any suggestions would be nice? Maybe if i could change the system to open dashboards on E and not a folder?

Depends on what it is. If it's XBMC you should be able to copy and rename the evoxdash.xbe to DASHBOARD\default.xbe , but dont move the XBMC folder.

Yeah its just the oposite. I got evox as the default and if i wanted to say for example add XBMC. I could do the same?
I have xbmc as a app though. I was gonna load up unleachx or a bunch of diffrent ones just to "look" at them. I am fairly new to this. I have another disk from this one guy off the net that has a video about his disk.
It loads up all his dashboards fine for some reason.

Honestly these days all you need is XBMC for a dashboard, it does basically everything you need.

I prefer Unleash X as my main dash cause its alot simpler for launching games and the built in audio player is nice and simple. XBMC is still a pretty wicked app though. I use it for movies and to check the weather. It all comes down to personal preference. Once you find the one you like, you'll know it. _________________

Not dissing UnleashX at all, because I did use UnleashX for a long time as my main dash, but since I moved to the 360 for gaming these days I like having XBMC as my main dash these days.
I can still launch games, play music (with wicked visualisations too), play movies from my Hard Drive or over the network, what more could you ask for really?

Hey, I like the simple things in life. Walks by the beach, the love of a good woman, shoes on my feet and a road to travel, and EvoX for my dash.
Simple, easy, efficient. EvoX does what I need. I don't need a dash with every tweakable setting under the sun, or fancy icons, or file management. I want to turn on, select my game/emulator and play. Simple. For that EvoX is no more, but no less than I need.

I found out that AID has a App on their that has a dashboard selector can anyone confirm this for me? Is it a addon or comes with it?
I read up on this and basically their is 2 things I can do. Rename the orig dash in ftp and upload a new dash and name it the same as the old one.
I also found on xbins Xselector or some crap.

Hey dude,
Whomever modded your xbox must have used Krazie's installer. I used it on some of mine, works well. If you want to update from Evox to XBMC, FTP to your box and delete everything in the dashboard folder and replace it with the CONTENTS of the XBMC folder, should boot right to XBMC. _________________ My Setup:
