I have two boxes, and I always test everything on my old machine first. Installed the applications, and 4 emulators. BTW fbaxxx and pro both gave me errors. Might have been my burn. Dunno.
What I do know is that my old xbox accepted the installs with no problem.
My new machine now boots to the UNLEASH X splash screen and freezes.
Hopefully I didn't just create a very expensive paperweight!!
Somebody please help!!!

Just checked. Games, including burnt discs still run. So I can get back into the auto installer. I tried re-installing the dash on Drive C:, but still just get the Unleash X screen.
Doesn't seem as bad as before, but I'd still like to get a working dashboard on here so I can access XBMC.
Any ideas?

Both softmodded, only difference was the old one had the Evo X dash and the new one had Unleash X dash. The original softmod was one of Ndure's. Worked perfectly until now.
I've tried removing the old dash. Got a (Can't Delete error)
I've tried putting in a new dash. Installs, but the unleash X splash is stil front, and still freezes.
I've tried putting a new softmod on, and it gives me an error message Cannot open or something.

Okay, not sure what did it. I'm guessing putting a new softmod on option must have been it, because it was the last thing I did. Anyway. Dashboard back.
Have no idea what caused it, but thank you for putting on so many options for repairing things. One of them must have worked.
