I had someone install a MOD chip in my Xbox today and he used a 1 click install of Slayers. It seems to be very old as XBMC is version 1.0. and there are barely any emulators etc. I would like to use AID and redo everything from scratch so I have the latest of everything. Can I simply download the latest AID, extract and burn it, boot my xbox with the disc and start fresh or will I screw everything up? Do I need to know anything about the bios in the chip he installed?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Yes you can just reformat and start over with the AID disc. I done this with my 1st xbox i had.

If you have a chip then you have no worries. The chip will boot AID with a hard drive that isnt even formatted so if you do mess anything up AID will still boot.
