Hi Guys
I have got an Xbox 1.4 with a n Xecuter 3 chip
I have just bought a new HDD 250Gb
I have downloaded a copy of AID 3.10 but I can not boot the Xbox with the AID disk
I have got a phiilip dvd drive I actulally bought memorex disk but no joy I created the disks using dvd decrypter and it sucessfully did a verify

Did you burn the .iso image? If you did DVDdecrypter will not be able to verify because the disc will have a fatx file system. _________________ Xenium Ice 2.3.1 OS

Thansk for getting back to me I have tried the -R and +-RW but no joy and it was a memorex + R that I used this evening

Yes I created an Iso image and then burnt it using dvd decrypter the app did a verify but when you try to look at it under a pC's Dvd it is blank _________________ "Oh no I have just f**Ked my Blo*** Motherboard"

i use nero 6 image burn with R- discs and have never had one not work.
and Quix all the way.

Just checking is there anything I need to do to get the xbox to boot from the dvd drive
I got my self a sony DVD disk and burnt it with DVD decraper when I put in the dvd and power on the Xbox it spins up the drive as if it want to read it then I goes in to the Xecuter startup screen
when I try to boot to dash board it comes up with a dirty disk not a micro$ disk please remove disk to continue _________________ "Oh no I have just f**Ked my Blo*** Motherboard"

Are you burning the disc a slow speed like 2x or 4x speed? I havent had any pobles with it. on Phillips and thomson drives. i use ultraiso to burn the dics and to update it.

Dam. umm when you downloaded the AID 3.10 disc is a zip did you xtract it all and there be a iso after that and then burn that iso after you updated it if need. ? Dont no anything else it could be apart from brand of disc?

I downloaded as a bit torrent then then used quick rar to extract it
