I know this is proberly really stupid, but is it possible to download a soft mod exploit file, burn it a cdr as a audio cd/file, then insert the disc into you virgin xbox and using the cd ripper install the softmod???????? any help ????????? I have now idea being a newbie and all you will have to spell it out.
thanks in advance any info on this topic will be gratley appreciated, I have search the net for hours and had no luck

As far as I know, no it will not work. The xbox will not read the burned CD as it it unsigned code. The audio exploits are, in my understanding, loaded as a game save through a specific game, such as MechAssault4. Though a loop in the games programming, you are allowed to install evox without ever opening up your case. There are tutorials on how to do this out there. Most of the people on this site have chips and don't have much softmodding experience.
