you could try flashing over http or create a bios disc the xbox can read

do i need a thirdchip of something not xenium or what?

already spent over $110.00 on 2 xenium chips from mod-chip.com
gess I'll have to try something different
I was under the impression once the chip is installed different bios flashed to it you could load homebrew software
guess not

well I thaught once the chip was insalled and bios flashed that it was sapposed to be able to read homebrew software. guess something is wrong
any suggestions on what kind of chip to buy besides xenium already went through two of them. Also where to buy from both times were from mod-chip.com and don't want to risk buying a third bad chip. don't think it was something I did. who knows
well I removed the dvd rom and hdd left chip in turned power on to test and xbox fraged. removed chip put dvd and hdd back in powered up and xbox works as stock again.
all I did to chip was flash bios so don't know if anything was writted to hdd
can I just get a different chip and put it in?

yes i tried booting from that bank 5035. it would boot up and say xectuter rocks my box then go to msdash put in aid3 do cold boot xbox cant recongnize disk screen.
Im lost.

K, heres what you do:
Download this. you can use this to customize how the 5035 will work. specifically make sure that the line that says "dash1Name = C:evoxdash.xbe" is set to whereever your hacked dashboard is and make sure that the "disable cd boot" is not checked
Once you have the .ini file on your PC, boot into your xenium OS and ftp the created file to E:\. then reboot to your 5035 bank, and it should use the new .ini file to find your hacked dash. _________________ Hotswap|HDD Upgrade|X3 Guide

i can't ftp into xbox for some reason
the chip bios is flashed but no hacked dash yet
im trying to get a dash on using aid3

Ok, that sucks. IF you can't FTP, does the xenium OS have a option to turn on/off booting from media? If there is no way to boot AID then we may have to go back to try to get your FTP working. _________________ Hotswap|HDD Upgrade|X3 Guide
