Can you rephrase this? That doesn't make sense. If your asking about upgrading a HDD for a softmod it is a little more invloved, but the only key difference is that the drive HAS to lock, where locking is optional for a modchip or tsop. _________________ Hotswap|HDD Upgrade|X3 Guide

ok sorry i was not so clear on this earlier but my X3 box is LBA48 enabled and i have a 400gig in it. I still can not open up the G drive on the x2 tsop box?? When I go into AID I go to format /prepare hdd and it only has standard or large hdd. The larger hdd option is not there? I then downloaded the new AID 3.0 and its the same thing. Before it would show up but now it will not.

Ah, ok, sorry, I was confused, I thought that the X3 was the problem box.
If you have an x2 tsop, what version of the x2 did you use? 5035? If so download this. It will allow you to not only create your X2 .ini file, but also open and patch your 5035 bios.bin file to allow for f to 137 - G rest.
If it is not 5035, what version did you use? Also, what version of xbox? _________________ Hotswap|HDD Upgrade|X3 Guide

Load Evox and go to system config. I think it should tell you your bios in there. _________________ Hotswap|HDD Upgrade|X3 Guide
