i was wondering if there is a way to make a trainer work on a backup disc without haveing to launch it with EvoX or Xored. The reason i need to do this is because i dont have a big enough harddrive to store the game. some help yould be greatly appreciated. Thanx in advance

no you cannot launch a trainer for a game with Xored i have looked and didnt not find anygames to launch but the ones on my harddive. I am in the process of getting a new hdd but do not have the money at the moment. And you can launch trainers with EvoX, but they dont work so even if i can with Xored, how can i expect it to work? my real question is i guess this, Is there a way to decompile the trainer and maybe just add the code into the game, or maybe just put the etm file on the disc and have an ini that launches it? if not, how do i use Xored and where can i find one thats in XBMC i have the mini one i think and it cannot launch the games from dvd drive.

well your trainer are bad then because I have played a few games off of Evox fine with the trainer. Trainer files are crazy and some have in game menus and all that jazz (like you have to click R and L to turn on the trainer in the game) _________________ The mighty V6 Passat came to chew bubble gum and kick%^* and shes all out of bubble gum!

lol you obviously misunderstood me. Trainers for EvoX DO NOT work for games not being played off of the harddrive. It works for games being plyed off of the hdd which i dont have enough room for nor the want to erase it all just to do that. im looking for a way to make themn work off of a backup disc.

No they do, I have done this many times....but you do have to turn them on in the dash board. so you start up go to the evox dash. then go to trainers under the games on HDD and hit it. bam you will see all the trainers then scroll down to the one you want and turn it on with the opitions you want and then back out of it. then in the dash hit play game or DVD and it will work _________________ The mighty V6 Passat came to chew bubble gum and kick%^* and shes all out of bubble gum!

nope. tried it with ninja gaiden trainers like 4 differnet ones, tried it with Halo 2 trainers with like 4 of those too failed again. tried it with SVC: Chaos, didnt work for halo 2 or SVC until i put them onto my hdd and launched the trainersso i stopped using trainers altogether, too much of a hassle until i get a bigger hdd. so trying to use them without a launcher on a backupdisc is my next try just trying to figure out a way or if its even possible

Ok do you check what cheats you want on? If you just trun the trainer on it will be on but you did tell it what to do. I am thinking you have but make sure you check what cheats you want on the trainer as you turn the trainer on. then I just press play off the dash. your power and eject button should also change color too _________________ The mighty V6 Passat came to chew bubble gum and kick%^* and shes all out of bubble gum!

No you should also turn the trainers off when you're not using them. You will also have to press A on what cheats you want on. Like inf $ inf life.... _________________ The mighty V6 Passat came to chew bubble gum and kick%^* and shes all out of bubble gum!
