Hello,
I sue hope sombody can help me since I am pretty much close to just give up....
I have a XBOX 1.6 with modchip, 80GB HDD and EVO-X installed. When I backup games on HDD, everything works just fine, I can play them all without any problem.
But: as soon as I play FIFA (tested Fifa World Cup 2006, Fifa 07), the sound seems to have some droputs at times, sometimes more, sometimes not at all. It is ingame and in the menu. The graphics keep being smooth as usual, it is just awful how jackup up audio kills any fun there is.
Could it be because of HDDloader (1.3a)? I mean maybe the autopatching just doesnt work properly on EA's Fifa Series. Two of my friends have Xboxes and dont have no problems at all! The have older and/or newer software versions. They do NOT have an XBOX 1.6, could that be the reason? Gotta try playing it from Disc, maybe the HDD is the problem. I can use an 7200rpm HDD, right? I dunno if i have one, but I might just get one if thats the problem, maybe - hopefully it is just the software versions though. I downloaded AID and patched it to 3.04, should i give it a try? Re-doing the whole console is an awful lot of work, but it would be worht fixing the FIFA SOUND Issue
