it says that u can log onto xbox live! without being banned and as soon as i log on, i am banned!
you should at least tell ppl that u still get banned instead of advertising that "this is the one softmod that u can play live with!!!
thats just total bullshit
everything ive gotten from this site has been great until now, now ive gotta either buy a new xbox or not use live anymore!!!
if anyone knows any way to either get "unbanned" or anything, plz help me!!!

most importantly if it was sid 4 and above you didnt listen and went in MODDED mode.. meaning the circle led was red and you got fooled by your owen ignorense insted if you read detailedly we state that if the circle led is solid green then its safe and this only happens when you put sid 4 or 4.5 dual boot =retail and by pressin OPEN TRAY to power it on then load a RETAIL game and not cheating or any crap and you should of been fine.

Uhh yeah. Also, if it is a softmod that can be disabled to allow the use of xbox live (e.g. SID4/4.5 dualboot), you did not read the manual properly.
Now, because I'm in a good mood I'm going to direct you to some info that may help you. Have a look at the Useful Info link under my signature. That thread should help you.
Take note that not only will you need to replace your Eeprom with a 'virgin' one, but you will also need to replace your HDD. Otherwise you will simply be banned again, even with your mod dissabled.

i read the manual about 50 times, i have the 4.5 version and i did EXACTLY what the directions were so i could play on live safely, the led was green the game booted, led still green, it was green the entire time, i installed it like everyone else, splinter cell exploit backup eeprom and ms, install evox and thenis there anything i missed????? not according to the manual which u told me to read so carefully

Have modded maps on halo or something perhaps?
Something is different on your box. That put aside, it does work, you can play live and it's worked for a lot of folks, so it is not the program.
I can't tell you what you missed, I wasn't there but when everything is followed as planned then indeed it does allow safe XBL.
Why not go on to Xlink KAI? It's much like XBL, it's free and it even allows modded maps (if you like such a thing).
You didn't go in to XBL using Evox right? You booted right to the M$ dash then went to XBL from there ya?

i started the game right from the microsoft dash, i loaded the disc, i went through all the regualr procedures to start an xbox game, the led was green, everything was as it was supposed to be, i logged on, i got banned!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

but how did you loaded it ? did you turn on with open tray button or which one?
btw have you upgrade or changed your hd and you been on xbox live before on the previous hd?
