there's no way it could of happen with a mod of some sort.
but here's 1 possible reason.
you might of been on xbox live with an older hdd (stock originla), and upgradded hdd, and softmodded again, and went online.
MS Detected that the eeprom and hdd serials aren't matching to the first time they logged in, and THAT'S MODDED ENOUGH for them, and you get banned!
Simple as that.
Other than that, it must of been a User error, and not the softmod/exploit. _________________ Xbox v1.1
