hey everyone ive been wanting to do this for quite some time now but till now i havent had the motivation. my 1.1 has been broken (bios is gone, christmas lights problem), and my 1.6 just "lost" its hdd key somehow lol. so im gonna need to mod chips anyway now. i want to make an xbox mini-cluster with maybe 2-4 xboxes and maybe bigger hdd's than stock. if you can offer me parts that would be great but if not i hope you can at least help me with the rest of it....research, etc. i dont know much about linux,xebian, or any mod chips so help me dig right into this ok! right now i have a 1.1 with christmas lights problem,seagate ST310014ACE hdd, and Thompson dvd drive, error 06 when inserted into my 1.6...no audio or video otherwise; a 1.6 i believe with stock Hitachi dvd drive, seagate ST310014ACE hdd, softmodded with SID (unknown version a.t.m), "lost" hdd key...error 13 (and 14 sometimes). a friend should be giving me an xbox with a broken dvd drive (thats what sounds like is wrong) hopefully.
im gonna need: 3 or more modchips (solderless, cause i cant solder and i wont ship out) and probably a ethernet switch or hub or something like that to connect all of them at once. also ill probably need linux-xebian or whatever.

If your going for cheap fixes, go with the DuoX 2, its just as good as the X 2.6CE at 1/4 the price. I have 2 40 GB HDD's laying around my room with nothing on it but EvoX. PM For details.
