dAMN THANKS YALL! (modgod) Im at the x3's main screen, ftp'd to my pc all contence of hard disk, burnt the backup. Now what do i do ? i have to make this puppy ready for live. do i just go to the aid 2.0 disk & instal? or do something with my eprom? this is all so differnt to me, damn exciting!

What you want is the Auto Installer Deluxe v2.0 if you dont have it already.. It has all the dashboards, apps and emulators you will ever need for your newly modified xbox..

Yeah, not sure how that one got by me either...
Let me know if you still need advice... also, good goin! Glad we are able to help.
To be ready for live though, all you do is make sure you have the MS Dash installed of course, and then when you boot your Xbox to boot with the chip disabled you just press the power button for a long press (about two seconds)
The X on the switch will turn red and you will boot to the MS dash. This means your chip is disabled and you are good to go.

Whats up?......(forahobby-modgod) Well, i'll tell ya, What an adventure! ........... thanks for the help! I still cant get it to boot(ms dash ready for live) with the chip off by holding the power button fo 2-3 seconds? when i turn the xbox on is the only time i see the light red(just for a second)then it goes to blue. When i hit the power botton quickly or a long press, it just shuts down. No red light, No reboot? Im shure this is somthing simple! The only way i can get it to boot whith the chip off is,to use reboot with chip off, from x3cl settings.thanks again...peace
