just instaled five games(homebrew) to my f disk on my box & the controler(s-type) just wont work? the games load fine, but my controler is dead? Any one had this problem? thanks

Hi,
what xbox homebrew games in particular?
I have used some from xfactordev.net and they worked fine.
Just make sure you have your standard controller plugged into port 1..
Some homebrew games may not even support the joystick im not sure.. I havent checked them all myself..

Wow, thanks for that link forahobby. I have always wanted to grab up some homebrew games.
I have only had problems with non MS Controllers with certain chips. Xenium blue and X3. I have to use an authentic MS controller. I would think that it's very possible that a game can be incompatible with non-factory controllers.
Are you using a factory controller?

Ben from xdevfactor was the one who helped me code xbox stuff.
We learn a little anyway.. hehe lol
Great site with lots of little tutorials on the xbox.

And yes(modgod) its a M$ s-type controler pluged into port one. the games boot just fine, but none of my buttons work?weird shit. u get my pm?.....................well yall im going to go load these games i just got from the link, peace

Sounds like you need to CLEAN OUT your SENT ITEMS..
Delete all pm's mate and then your account will go back to normal.
Im writing a script which wil automatically clean your pm's anyway, just need some more time to finish..

me too.. I get enough pm's.. Actually djb was having a whinge about how many he got and its bugger all compared to what you and I receive.. hehehhehe lol (only playing djb)
I now prefer to give them my direct email address so we can sort out any probs or via a forum topic so it helps everyone..
Just do a delete all or something.. Tidy up and things will be fine again!
