I recently installed my Duox2 mod and the avalaunch dash. All seems to be working fine. I have read in several places that I should be backing up my Operating system files, eeprom, bios, etc and FTPing them to a cd for safe keeping in case I crash my system. Question is I don't have a clue what files I should be backing up to disc. Could anyone shed some light on the specific files or partitions I should be backing up or should I just backup the entire stock HDD. I searched till I'm blue in the face and I can't find this info anywhere.
My Xbox is v1.4 ....X2-4981 bios....latest Avalaunch dash. Any help here please? Question

Yes I do have a file on C: named backup. It has several .bin files one of which is the hddkey.bin.....eeprom.bin......etc. Are these the files I need to save. I already saved the C drive so perhaps I'm covered then.

Great thanks a lot for the help. Now all I have to do is learn how to flash both banks of my eeprom with an X2 bios like 4981 and I'll be good to go. One bank is already flashed with an X2 bios for my V1.4 xbox but I wanted to flash both banks as a backup just in case. Smile
