ok i just softmoded my xbox so now i have a couple of question
i softmoded with sid 2 and suto installer deluxe 2 how do i play reataile games
how do backup my eeprom and ms dash to my computer so i can burn to a dvd or cd so it can be safe incase something happens
also if i backup a game to my xbox hard drive how do i transfer it to my pc to make a backup

What do you mean you can't play retail games? All you have to do is put the game in and it'll play (retail and backups).......... If your xbox really can't play retail games... Then you can either update to SID 4.0, like i said on the other post , or replace the dvd drive. Now for backing up your eeprom, you need to ftp between your computer and your xbox. If you don't know how, there are several guides on this website and if that doesn't help then you should google it. Make sure you back it up before you come looking for it. I've never used sid 2.0 so im not sure if and where your backup is located. Just to make sure, make a backup using the evox dash system configuration/ backup.... it is going to be stored in drive e/backup..... Ftp that to your computer for safekeeping. For the ms files, they should also be in e/ backup so you should ftp that over to your comp. If they're not there, then don't worry about the ms files because you can just download them. It is the eeprom that is vital to your xbox. There you man, you have just backed up your eeprom and original ms folders. For the game question, you should uses aid to prepare your e drive and then add dvd2xbox to burn games to your harddrive. If you've already done that, every game should be located in your games folder in the root of the e drive. Of course there's no way your games can just disappear from the drive unless your drive is messed up...... Why would you need to back it up if you already have the original version , just no matter what you do just make sure you own the game. Thats piracy if you don't buddy. Just a heads up.... Good Luck
