Hey all .
I'm a complete noob to all this ... I recently had my xbox chipped but because the person who did the mod on my xbox had run out of HDD's , I opted to source my own hdd and do the AID stuff myself ... supposedly it was going to be easy to do .
I installed the HDD and inserted the AID disc , booted up ... all good , went to the Prepare HDD section , E drive prepares ok , then when I try to Prepare F and G I get an error saying "Unable to Unzip archive , Error Code 3"
Any help would be greatly appreciated .

What chip do you have? Most chips now have an option to upgrade your HDD. Load the OS and follow the onscreen instructions. Or just try and format the drive from the chips OS. _________________

Hey all ....
Thanks for your replies on this ... the solution was very simple as it turns out , so I thought I'd share it for any noobs that may run intop the same prob down the track .
When I installed the HDD and did the format for F and G drives, it didn't automaticaly create partition volumes for F and G drives , to fix this I have to use the "xbpartitioner" app and manually set the partition volumes , then I was able to install the dashboards and other apps as per normal .
Maybe this is the normal and correct way to do it ... but being a noob I wasn't aware of the proces .. now I am .. JOY !!
Hope it comes in handy for someone .
Ben .
