Hey guys,
I Softmodded another box using sid 3 and everything was going great....I popped in my aid 2.11 disk and it was loading the dashboard evok 3935 then all the sudden it popped up with an error code. My aid 2.11 disk was scratched... Without thinking about it I hit the reset button and now all i get is error code 21 which is dashboard failed to load. Unfortunatly my disk trey open menu is doing the same thing also, giving me error 21. Basically i cant get into evok (because it's not there im guessing) and i cant get into my sid file.
My question to you guru's of xbox modding who have helped me so many time in the past is this...
I cant really think of any way to fix this box since i cant get into any screen and it doesnt want to read my aid 2.11 disk (i've tried dvd/dvd+-CD-r) ...it still gives me error 21. I happen to have some old unlocked harddrives from other xbox's i have modded, if i just switch out the drives will i have a working xbox and then can i just re-mod it?

It sounds to me that your only option will be to do a hotswap. Our own hq member pirrup has a tutorial listed and the proper ms-dash files located underneath his sig.
Doing a hotswap is really simple if you have a regular pc (no laptops). I softmod all of the xbox's I do by doing a hotswap. I believe it is so much easier than using game exploits. Only takes about 5 minutes to complete the whole process. PM me if you have any further questions. _________________ XBOX v1.6c

yes and no if u put other hdd u must marry the motherboard to hdd.. that way both of them can run .. have u try coldbooting ur game that u softmod with???? tell me the gamesve hacks are stil thre... it can only be fix with these things .... hotswap ... it always fixes things... coldboot game of exploits... and finaly GET NKNAVES XED DISC ISO the xed is the far to easiest way of doing it... just get it burn it as iso... pop disc in turn xbox of turn on .... if runnin then click UNINSTALL ALL SOFTMODS then say no to turn off CLICK INSTALL MS DASH say yes to turn off.. and it should work fine... _________________ Xbox 360 Premium edition

I agree with gus738. Try to load the game you used for the exploit and redo the softmod. If that doesn't work the your only option is to do a hotswap. _________________ Xenium Ice 2.3.1 OS
